The law basically describes as "whatever monster you got from in-game currency must be in the final form and not be used to make another monster more powerful". Buffing and new forms doesn't really break the law because that is the new "final form" once the patch comes in. It is not like only Lucy's rolled after 2017 get a 20k Barrier instead of 10k.Nerfing is different because gaming companies can make so that they take the player's money and then nerf it a few months down the road. Think of all the rioting from players who funnel thousands of dollars into a Lucy/Gab and find out that they lose an ability or something a few months later.
How are we on quests?I like looking at as many variables as possible, so around when Alice / Striker's new forms were introduced in JPN, what were the latest Extremes? Alice was out right after the Adventures Come to Life Event Series.Striker Transcension (along with Agnamut and HK Transcensions) were after the Halloween alphas.
Where here is the specific law:http://www.adweek.com/socialtimes/japan-officially-declares-lucractive-kompu-gacha-practice-illegal-in-social-games/525608The Medal Farming that came out of Version 7.0 in JP did make some use for 4-5* monsters since lower Rarity gives you more. But only 5* Rarity quests will make any use of those monsters. They will basically have to create some sort of dungeon incentive to actually make them useful like an Ability to dispel GB or near 100% chance of doing Knockout onto the opponent when they attack.
I always keep a 100 space buffer. Plus I never keep materials for monsters I think I will roll, I just get them when I need them.Pro tip: Use the Buyback! The monsters you can buyback don't have a time expiration date so they just sit in that list forever. Just sell your materials you think you will need for later and they will stay there until you need it. Make sure you don't hit the 50 monster cap or if you do, rearrange the order by buying back and selling it again. Also, Expies and morlings won't be in that list if you sell them so you won't have that terrible of a time managing it.
