I'm sitting at 345k friend points. What is everyone gonna do with theirs? Burn them all or let them stay till the end?

I debated on trying to use mine but then decided it might take everyday all day to use the 3 million I have. Still on the fence about it tho lol.

I think I'm somewhere north of 2.5 million friend points. I don't remember.

I'll just delete the app while that number keeps rising.

I've already cleared most of my friend list.

Sold off units and screen captured one of my Alts before I deleted it last night.

Two months then I'll delete my farming alt account. And my main will just be bare with some op units Until the end. Once I trans my related monster, I'll sell all my max lucks and dupes...

I will only keep my tower teams. After that. Then it while be Aug 1st and I'll delete the app.

I'm just depressed the company never gave a **** about this version of their product. Even though we did support them... even after their mistakes and bad decisions. I'm not mad at the amount of money invested, more so the fact I can't play this game with the friends I made over the last couple years.

    RIP monster strike. Never again

    Edit://

We didn't even get to check out pandora.
That's the biggest middle finger to us...

I'm still super bummed and I find it very difficult to want to support anything Mixi/XFLAG related ever again. Building a solid community takes effort, time and resources. This feels like giving up but we all saw the warning signs around the globe. We just hoped it wouldn't happen to us. I'm no upset about the money or time either, I'm upset at . . . building a game around making friends, making a community and then ripping it away with no recourse, no path, nothing is just shortsighted and highlights the forced artifice of mobile gaming. Games like this obviously have a shelf-life, I just didn't expect the product to have already spoiled by that date. I wish everyone in the company luck (ha) in the future, but I'll never support the company in a financial capacity ever again.

Let me talk to iMacK about possibly handing out Dragon Gems as login bonuses to help everyone transcend. I could definitely see that becoming a huge hassle to transcend all those new monsters!

@Pete_MS was there any update on this?

This seems relevant and sums up how I feel about Monster Strike right now.

First this is some bull*** , and everyone is just giving up

No one here has the ability to keep the game going. When a business decides it's no longer financially viable to maintain a product, the only options are to sell the rights to the development of the product and, if that fails, just drop it entirely. On top of all that, we have no real clue what XFlag permits mixi to do with the rights they hold.

So unless someone has a fortune we don't know about and would like to negotiate with Mixi/XFlag to acquire the rights to develop MS, there's nothing anyone can do.

I understand people are upset, but there are far too many people choosing to handle this situation with a hostile outburst. Ironically this is the most active I've ever seen this forum and it's not the best way to go out.
I know business but where is the human element this is just wrong so what if we dont use the forum we play the game i have altered my life based on extreme schedules they could do something but you are right . So does any one have a small fortune to negotiate rights or shouldnt we just give up on them like they did us .ps there still allowing purchases till july 2nd knowing there going to close the game now thats the biggest middle finger of all

Yeah, we should be able to set something in a couple of weeks. Right now the data is locked in, so we have to QA the additional login bonuses first.

I think they should just give her as a log in present to global players, no ones gonna spend money trying to pull her now

I still haven't pulled her here in Japan, but some of my friends have :(

I actually started doing that with 2.5 million one day at work trying for another Striker Jr ML. I did it using about 250,000K if I remember right, BUT, it literally took about 4 hours to do all of the pulls. lol. Now I don't care about the ml's, so only use it if I run out of materials for evoing.

If you find one before August, drop by sometime.

I'm wondering if there's any game that's like Starbucks' customer-loyalty program. It splits the base into three categories -- regular, frequent, and gold. Regular patrons get regular pricing, regular menus, regular discounts. Frequent members are long-time members / paid for the card and get additional menu choices and discount notices; to keep the membership, you need to be at least a weekly customer. Gold members are Frequent members that are almost daily customers and have access to even more menu and discount options, but they also must visit daily to keep from dipping out of Gold status.

And one way for a Gold member to buy that much, is to do refreshment runs for others. Much like sharing a Netflix account. It's "trickle down" meets "socialism" where the paid subscriber buys exclusive vouchers and hosts them for others. The subscriber can work this way to keep their gold status (waived monthly fee), the regulars can play 'top-tier' quests and might be tempted to become Gold (or at least grind to get Frequent-tier exclusives), and referral codes (discounts for in-game currency or subscription fees) can be seasonally passed / grinded for.
